I also downloaded and installed Ubuntu Linux. It worked right out of the gate. The distro auto-magically recognized my wireless chipset, graphics card, and sound card. I have never ever had that happen within linux. I am really, really, really happy that it coexists with my windows computer. Off to bake a from scratch cake.
